13:02 - Found property in Sattley turned into the Sheriff’s Office.

08:30 - Bear going after livestock in Loyalton. Well that’s no good!

10:45 - CHP notified of an abandoned vehicle near Verdi getting stripped. If my car breaks down on the road and I have to leave it there, and you’re of the mindset to steal - just take the whole damn car. Don’t leave me scraps and a towing headache. Even thievery can have higher standards!

11:05 - Bear trying to get into a Loyalton residence. Not good.

15:07 - Deputies aware of concern for a homeless man in Calpine.

16:06 - Owner retrieved lost Apple Watch turned into the Sheriff’s Office by a human with a conscience and a good heart.

17:47 - Report of possible drunk driver in Plumas County jurisdiction.

19:05 - Report of fireworks possibly being set off around Pike. Deputy did not locate any fireworks in the area. GOOD! Don’t be a blockhead and burn us all down! NO FIREWORKS!

20:05 - A loose bull near a highway in Lassen County has CHP and the owner busy remedying the situation.

20:07 - One was cited near Sierra City for no proof of registration.

20:19 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.

21:33 - Verbal altercation around Stampede Reservoir was loud enough to warrant a response from Truckee PD and our agency. No crimes committed.

22:13 - Deputy advised a party in Camptonville about the most recent fire restrictions after noticing their campfire.

22:15- What in the “h-e double hockey sticks” is this call? “Caller did not have an emergency, no details were given about the caller, and they wanted to make a noise complaint about squirrels being loud and for the dispatcher to say their ABCs backwards. Due to no crime occurring, there was no need for Sheriff’s Office response.” I can totally see myself making this call after about four shots of Ole Smoky Moonshine!

07:30 - Verdi caller complaining about parked vehicles on private property.

08:53 - If there were vehicles blocking a Downieville road, they weren’t by the time CHP pulled up! Don’t you love the CHP officers that work our area? I do! I really do!

10:21 - Reno caller advised that there was no accident; just dropped their phone.

12:45 - Report taken in Loyalton over harassment and threats.

13:51 - Ambulance requested in Downieville.

14:24 - Vehicle parked on private property in Downieville without permission.

15:42 - Forest Service responding to vegetation fire around Loyalton.

16:43 - Smoke was reported from Wild Bill Canyon, but the Forest Service couldn’t see any.

16:59 - A smoke sighting around Haskell Peak was from a vehicle.

17:42 - Expired vehicle registration citation near Sierra City.

17:49 - Deputy transported citizen to Reno.

18:11 - Loyalton Fire unable to find reported smoke near Sierra Brooks.

18:12 - Deputy ensured illegal fire near Chapman Creek was put out.

18:13 - If there were folks about to jump off the Durgan Bridge in Downieville, they might have plunged into the water before the law arrived.

18:21 - Illegal camper around Sierra City moved along by a deputy.

18:51 - Traffic offense near Sierra City.

20:07 - The “Lunch Fire” near Truckee held overnight; they “currently have a helicopter on it.”

20:11 - The “Lemon Fire” near Truckee held overnight, and they also “currently have a helicopter on it.”

20:28 - Fire woes alleviated at Harding Point as USFS quickly put out a small fire.

23:19 - Deputy advised illegal camper in Downieville on legal locations to pitch a tent.

00:32 - Downieville caller advised car alarm may sound as bear gained entry into vehicle.

10:37 - One arrested in Sierraville after being drunk in public.

11:24 - CHP handling single-vehicle crash on the Yuba Pass.

12:30 - Small fire in Carmen Valley due to lightning strike. Logging crew used a whole water tender.

12:51 - Mental health crisis in Loyalton.

13:08 - Civil dispute in Calpine reported.

13:27 - Bear broke into a laundry room in Loyalton. Probably trying to find Tide laundry detergent and dryer sheets!

14:20 - Ambulance requested in Loyalton.

18:12 - The reportedly intoxicated male on Main Street in Downieville was not around when the law showed up.
