09:31 - HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK! Bear crashes wedding at the Lure Resort! A car and building were damaged during its stubborn refusal to leave the festivities! While unknown how much the bear interrupted the reading of the vows, my first thought – I hope the wedding cake survived!

11:29 - Caller informed that gunshots heard in Downieville were linked to a 21 gun salute.

11:35 - Bear damages garage in Sierra City,

15:41 - Weapon related property found in Loyalton garbage.

22:19 - Folks near Sierraville who stopped along the road to take pictures of wildlife to be on their way when the sun comes up.

07:54 - Overdue party concern but location name was mixed up by caller. Missing folks were near Indian Valley Reservoir, not Indian Valley Campground.

11:53 - Deputy investigates convicted felon in Loyalton for possession of a firearm.

11:57 - Reported vehicle in Downieville with two dogs locked inside was gone before the Deputy arrived.

14:51 - Request for assistance with getting keys out of a locked vehicle in Downieville.

16:04 - Owner of a lost cell phone in Downieville was able to retrieve the turned in device from the Sheriff’s Office. Great job to whomever found and turned in the lost device! Thanks for being a good human!
