15:17 - Appears lock has been tampered with at the Sierra Brooks water tank.

16:13 - Citizen in Verdi was assisted getting vehicle unstuck from the mud.

16:15 - Deputy gave lodger at Wayne Brown Correctional Facility a ride to Reno. Kindness at its finest!

21:05 - Caltrans notified a sign was possibly vandalized outside of Sierraville. Like they don’t have enough on their plate this time of year!

22:01 - Caller provided info on a crash that happened last week.

23:06 - Sierra County Road Department notified of a downed tree on Ridge Road. There’s a hardworking bunch of folks!

23:33 - Sattley Transfer Station making the most of the day conducting a controlled burn.

01:06 - CHP and Caltrans notified of a downed tree on Hwy 49 near Camptonville.

08:45 - “Report of someone saying strange things in the courthouse parking lot.” The speech and behavior of folks hanging around this vicinity were not deemed bizarre when the law investigated.

08:50 - Control burn happening in Loyalton.

11:58 - Citizen requested assistance with car troubles near Calpine.

12:30 - Biologist will be checking fish traps around the Rocky Rest Campground.

13:24 - Accidental alarm sounded in Pike.

18:06 - Control burn in Sattley.

18:44 - CHP handled vehicle accident near Loyalton.

Wednesday, January 8

08:53 - Deputy helped citizen change a tire at the Lost Nugget. Awesome!

12:45 - “Report of an abandoned vehicle near Border Town.”

13:10 - Juvenile issue at Loyalton High School.

13:31 - 775 Off Road & Recovery came to the rescue of a vehicle stuck in the snow in Verdi.

15:12 - Civil service requested in Loyalton.

15:19 - Civil service requested in Goodyears Bar.

16:42 - One in Sierraville arrested on outstanding Sierra County warrant and other charges.

Thursday, January 9

06:49 - Lodger at Wayne Brown transported to Sierra County for court.

14:42 - Possible truancy issue in Loyalton.
