SIERRA COUNTY — Sierra County Sheriff Mike Fisher and Supervisor Paul Roen have endorsed Tenessa Audette for California’s First Assembly District. Audette is a Republican candidate focusing her campaign on the issues of public safety, wildfire mitigation, and sustainable economic growth.

Sheriff Fisher states, “Tenessa has a clear understanding of the unique challenges our rural communities face. Her commitment to prioritizing resources for law enforcement ensures our region’s safety remains a top concern. I trust her to represent the needs of our citizens and keep our communities safe.”

Roen, a strong supporter of the forest management and timber industry, stated, “With Tenessa’s hands-on approach, I know she’s serious about addressing wildfire prevention and forest health. She understands the balance needed between environmental stewardship and the economic well-being of our communities. Tenessa’s leadership will bring real, lasting solutions to the North State.” Audette is also endorsed by two other Sierra County supervisors, Sharon Dryden and Terry LeBlanc, all representing eastern Sierra County.

Audette will run against another Republican, Heather Hadwick, in the November 5th general election. Incumbent Megan Dahle is running for state senate.
