Dan, who passed away unexpectedly at home, was born in Hanford, CA, and moved with his family to Walnut Creek when he was one year old. He attended Walnut Creek schools and Las Lomas High School, where he participated in basketball, swimming and water polo. After attending U.C. Davis, Dan worked in construction and became a cabinet maker. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and was an active member of the Diablo Divots golf club. Dan also enjoyed living in the mountains, where he hiked the Muir Trail, panned for gold and fished. Predeceased by his father and brother, Dan will be greatly missed by his mother, Cecelia. “Papa Dan” will also be missed by Alexis and Kenzie Quin, and Layton and Weston Foster. Private services will be held.69
