Fire Chief Chris Dorn
Pliocene Ridge Community Service District Fire Chief Chris Dorn was killed in a motorcycle accident in the North San Juan area on Saturday, November 9th. Dorn presided over the expansion of fire and medical services on the Pliocene Ridge in recent years, and was loved by his community. He had been involved with the Pike City and Alleghany Fire Departments for 10 years, and had a background in federal, state, and local fire departments. Dorn was 61 years old.
