15:32 – In Loyalton, Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was requested.
Tuesday, March 1
02:32 – In Loyalton, there was a confidential investigation.
08:59 – In Downieville, there was an investigation for someone driving on a suspended license and some outstanding warrants.
12:01 – In Calpine, someone requested information pertaining to the handling of a stray cat. Sergeant Crawford informed the caller that the SCSO does not have the capabilities to handle stray cats. Next time there is a stray cat, give it some food and water. It’s pretty basic.
14:23 – Near the Sierra/Plumas county line on Harriot Lane, there was a possible hit and run causing damage to a fence.
14:46 – On HWY 49 just south of Yuba Pass, a large boulder was in the road. CalTrans was notified to remove the boulder.
Wednesday, March 2
02:16 – In Sierraville, an ambulance was requested.
10:08 – In Sierraville, an employee was overdue. The employee was then located.
11:27 – In Sierra City, a 911 call complaining about the jail phones not working at the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility. A 911 call is a bit extreme for a complaint that SCSO can’t remedy.
Thursday, March 3
09:02 – In Downieville, the phone system at the school was being tested.
09:34 – In Loyalton, Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was requested.
10:12 – In Downieville, there was a fire burning at the Western Sierra County transfer site.
12:52 – In Sierra City, someone possibly cut down some trees illegally. With so many trees, it must have been obvious to notice trees missing.
13:55 – In Sierraville, a pest control company accidentally set off a burglary alarm.
14:46 – In Downieville, someone was littering and shooting guns near a public recreational area. The individual was contacted and given a verbal warning to clean up the area and find a new location to go shooting.
Friday, March 4
07:28 – In Loyalton, Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance helped someone get back upright.
10:25 – In Loyalton, there was a report of a battery.
12:57 – In Loyalton, Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was requested.
13:43 – In Loyalton, Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance was requested again.
14:00 – In Sierraville, there was a structure fire.
17:16 – In Verdi, a resident was scammed for $300 off of Facebook MarketPlace.
17:27 – In Loyalton, one person was arrested for false documents, drug paraphernalia, methamphetamines and under the influence of a controlled substance. The other individual was arrested for parole violations.
Saturday, March 5
00:15 – In Loyalton, Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance lifted someone up.
02:05 – At mile marker 33 on HWY 49, a vehicle was abandoned in the middle of the road. CHP and CalTrans were notified. That’s odd.
04:06 – In Sierraville, an ambulance was requested.
04:49 – In Loyalton, Eastern Plumas Health Care Ambulance helped another person upright.
09:41 – In Downieville, there was a reckless driver around town.
15:14 – In Downieville, someone needed assistance at the Downieville Grocery Store.
18:28 – In Camptonville, there was a non-injury crash.
20:00 – In Sierra City, an ambulance was requested.
Sunday, March 6
16:21 – In Loyalton, a warrant was issued for someone that failed to appear. All you had to do was show up. Now you are in big trouble.
